Important Issues and the SDGs
The E∙J Group is identifying important issues based on changes in the social environment, issues facing mankind, and the role that the group businesses should play. Resolving these issues is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, and will contribute to their achievement.

1. Strengthen measures to mitigate the burden on the environment
Contributing to the creation of a resilient recycling-oriented society and supporting the spread of renewable energies and other solutions that mitigate the burden on the environment
- ●By grasping the state of changes in the natural and living environments through businesses developed by the Group and proposing improvements in our business activities, we are contributing to the resilience of infrastructure against natural disasters and the prevention of environmental degradation both in Japan and overseas
- ●As a think tank that supports the construction of a recycling-oriented society, we are contributing to the construction of social infrastructure in related fields such as energy conservation by realizing smart cities, better methods of public transportation, etc., through business developed by us as a group
- ●We are contributing to improving the global environment by planning and designing with consideration given to mitigating the burden on the environment in the field of social infrastructure
2. Contribute to the creation of a sustainable and resilient society
Contributing to the creation of a safe and secure society through the improvement of regional living environments, taking measures to revitalize areas, and developing high-quality infrastructure both in Japan and overseas
- ●It is our responsibility to respond quickly in the event of a disaster, so we are working together as a group to build a system that allows for a prompt response.
